Health Robotics today announced that both Regina General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital from Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (Saskatchewan) purchased 2 Health Robotics' i.v.STATION Robots through Health Robotics' exclusive partner Sandoz Canada, after Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region's extensive due diligence, site visits, and 1Q2012 direct comparisons between Canadian-based Intelligent Hospital Systems' RIVA and i.v.STATION.

Gaspar DeViedma, Health Robotics' Executive Vice President, stated: "This is certainly not the first time (nor do we expect it to be the last) where Health Robotics' competitors with outdated technologies [such as Intelligent Hospital Systems/RIVA or Loccioni/APOTECAchemo] dispute open-tender decisions and lose their appeals to such Public Tenders. These two companies seem more interested in trying to stop hospitals from adopting Health Robotics' 2^nd Generation smaller, faster, and less expensive Robots through legal protests than in fixing their own obsolete Robots. In particular, RIVA had their own home country of Canada at their sole availability for 20+ years without competition, until Health Robotics entered the Canadian market with Sandoz in 2011. Canadian pharmacists (which arguably know RIVA the best) have continuously rejected RIVA, which only sold 2 Chemotherapy Robots in Canada in all this time, both through private contracts without competition, both prior to Sandoz entering the market, and none of which are "live" and operational today, even 2.5 years after RIVA's first press release."
